Baumer, an engineering systems design and installation company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with OV Engineering, a company with international experience in energy-efficient construction and LEED\u00ae certification consulting.<\/p>

The partnership aims to develop energy-efficient and sustainable construction practices in Georgia, as well as to introduce international standards within the construction sector. Under the agreement, the companies will jointly work to implement engineering solutions in various construction projects that comply with modern environmental and energy-efficiency standards.<\/p>

\u201cLEED is one of the most authoritative international standards in the field of energy-efficient and sustainable construction. Introducing such approaches and standards to the Georgian market is in our direct interest, as it contributes to raising the quality of the construction sector. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in an additional demonstration space of Baumer Academy, where a thematic lecture titled \u201cLEED Certification and Energy-Efficient Buildings in Georgia\u201d was held as part of the event. The lecture covered development trends in energy-efficient construction in Georgia and the importance of implementing international standards. It also addressed the existing challenges and progress of energy efficiency in the Georgian construction sector, as well as the LEED certification process, its benefits, and its relevance for the country.<\/p>
