Batumi, as one of the fastest-growing cities in Georgia, is increasingly becoming a host to innovative and large-scale projects. Among these new spaces is the new campus of Caucasus University and School, where Baumer carried out the revision and installation of engineering systems.
Premium Engineering Solutions at the Caucasus University Campus
The scale of the project and its architectural complexities required engineering systems that fully meet premium-class standards. At the initial stage, Baumer carried out a revision and optimization of the engineering systems project. For heating and cooling the building, the latest VRV systems from the Japanese brand Daikin were selected, while ventilation units from the same brand were installed to ensure air circulation. This guarantees a stable, oxygen-rich environment for students and academic staff.
Key Challenges and Their Solutions
Batumi’s climate, particularly its high humidity, was one of the main challenges. The campus includes an indoor swimming pool, where humidity control is of critical importance. For this purpose, Baumer equipped the facility with Daikin’s specialized dehumidification system, fully integrated into the building’s climate control network.
Another important space is the school atrium — an open, large-volume area where ensuring temperature stability is challenging. Baumer equipped the Caucasus University and School with an underfloor heating system from the Danish brand Danfoss, which distributes temperature optimally.
Baumer Standard – Engineering Excellence
Baumer’s working principle is simple — every detail must meet the standard of engineering excellence. The company has developed a specialized operational system that allows us to implement projects with a unified standard across any region of the country. This means that every solution on a site is not only technically precise but also designed with the building’s long-term functionality and comfort in mind.
